The Ondara Riding School is run by Jodie Darrick-Hayter, a qualified British Horse Society groom. The school can cater for all ages and any ability, including the disabled. Individual or group sessions can be taken.

The school has teaching lessons in its own sand school, there is a menage and a cross country course. Hacks in the local area or up into the mountains can also be arranged. Occasionally there are special events that provide the excuse for dressing up riders and horses, events such as the Mayor's Parade in Pedreguer or the Blessing of the Animals in San Antonio.

Finally, the horses and ponies have been chosen with care for their temperament as well as their ability and are a joy to work with. They vary from Star, an ex-trotter, to Freddy, a little Pyrenean Mountain pony and all the way up to the big boys like Harry, a Friesen and Sultan, trained for dressage.
