Chester

Cocker Spaniel

Born in England in 1998 Chester went to live with Sandra and go to work at the RSPCA headquarters in Horsham. He got to know and like people very much, so when he moved to Spain and the first guests started to arrive he was in his element. Now an older gentleman he does not quite have the energy to keep up with his favourite pastime which is chasing a ball, he is generally a good retriever and up until he is tired or too hot he will keep on chasing and retrieving.

Purdy

Breton Spaniel / Pointer Cross

Purdy arrived at Estrella Lodge on 2nd February 2008 when she was about 9 months old. Unfortunately her original family were unable to keep her due to a change in jobs, so we went to visit her and fell in love. She was a little nervous of people initially but with each visitor she is getting more relaxed.

Purdy is very energetic but has not quite got to grips with the retrieving rules, we will be training her this year, so you are welcome to come and have a play and give us a hand

Apple

RIP

Apple came to Estrella in November of 2005, he was rescued by friends and spent the first few days with the vet, when we eventually met him he was only 8 weeks old and so cute and friendly.

Apple loved people and got on well with Chester. His major claim to fame was that he was a fantastic hunter.

He was great fun and a lovely cat that enjoyed a good cuddle, he will be missed by everyone. Regrettably he died on 25th October 2007, just 2 years old.
